WEST COAST CONFERENCE

The West Coast Conference known as the WCC, is an NCAA conference currently consisting of eight member schools across the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. It was formed in 1952 to provide a convenient venue for five San Francisco Bay Area schools to compete in basketball. Since its modest beginning, the WCC evolved and grown to become a nationally recognized and competitive force in intercollegiate athletics, with 13 league-sponsored sports including baseball, both men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and women’s volleyball and crew. Considered to be one of the better mid-major conferences in the country, the WCC’s teams are listed below:
